We’re a small, locally-run horse riding operation on Natadola Beach. Most of the team is from the villages along this stretch of coast, and the horses have been doing these trails for long enough to know them better than we do.
Most of what we do is beach rides for people who’ve never been on a horse before. Honeymooners, families with kids, people on a stopover from a cruise — that’s the everyday crowd. We also run a longer cross-country ride for people who want more time in the saddle, and a combination tour that finishes with a lovo (Fijian earth-oven) lunch in the village.
A couple of practical notes about how we work. The horses are picked for temperament, so they’re calm with the surf, the noise, and the occasional dropped phone. We match riders to horses by size and confidence, not by whoever’s next out of the paddock. The guides handle the safety briefing properly before anyone mounts up, and they’ll quietly adjust the pace based on who’s in the group — if there’s a nervous kid, the whole ride goes slower.
